LeadX acts as an introducer between potential assureds and brokers/insurers. LeadX receives referrals from brokers who have been unable to find insurance for the potential assured and wish to refer that person on to another broker or insurer. LeadX is introduced to the potential assured by the referring broker, and from that point deals directly with the potential assured. A LeadX call centre representative gathers information from the potential assured about their needs and profile, which is entered into the LeadX system to 'match' the potential assured with a suitable broker or insurer.
The LeadX call centre representative runs through a matrix of questions, the purpose of which is to put consumers into a specific category. Once the matrix is complete, the LeadX system will identify a potential insurer. The potential insurer will be the one who has identified that it wants introductions to customers in a particular category and who has offered to pay the highest price for the introduction.
The LeadX employee then facilitates the introduction of the potential assured by live telephone transfer to the relevant insurer or broker in order to obtain insurance cover. At each stage of the chain, the consent of the potential assured is obtained.
We are currently making introductions in respect of potential Home, Car and Life potential assureds, for 90% of the General Insurance market place. Buyers purchase introductions pre-matched to their criteria, whilst Sellers monetise sales contacts that may normally go to waste.
Case Study
A major General Insurance client recognised the commercial advantage in ensuring that as many customers as possible are provided with insurance (whether directly or by referral). By acting as the first step in a chain ensuring that non-converted customers were directed to LeadX and thus introduced to brokers/insurers willing to receive the potential assured, our client generated extra revenue. This additional revenue is used to ensure our client is introduced to those potential assureds who match the products our client offers.
LeadX provided a fully scalable turnkey solution which included:
- Handling both non converted web quotes and live calls into their contact centre
- Trading over 90% of wastage via their call centre and over 30% of wastage via the web
- Providing fully profiled postcode specific leads matching their underwriting footprint
- Contacting all quotees within 24 hours of the original application, passing suitable candidates back to the underwriting team and introducing non suitable applicants to other Insurance companies capable of offering a competitive quote.
- Providing an alternative option to customers and fulfilling the customer journey
The service resulted in:
- Returning customers who want to proceed with the original quote but for one reason or another did not complete the quote on the day
- Customers who want another quote can be transferred to another insurer
- Customer is left feeling satisfied that they were dealt with fairly, even if the company they originally applied to could not offer a competitive quote
- Lowered Cost Per Acquisition and maximized revenue potential from expensive marketing campaigns
